The Whistler Real Estate Market Report
Strong interest from buyers has resulted in a significant increase in sales activity in the Whistler real estate marketplace in 2007. Every category of property and every geographical area have seen an increase in terms of number of sales and the total dollar values of sales, far surpassing the levels achieved in 2006. Median values for properties in Whistler real estate have also increased significantly on a year-to-year comparison. Of particular interest to purchasers currently are single family homes and larger family style townhouses such as those being built at Fitzsimmons Walk in White Gold. As this is the smallest part of the overall Whistler real estate market in availability, this has caused prices to move upwards. Other categories of property are seeing similar trends and we are experiencing a steady drop in the number of properties available for sale in Whistler real estate market.
