The Hudson Victoria - Newly Restored Historic Building transformed into Luxury Victoria Condos by Townline Development

The Hudson Victoria Condo Update – August 2009

Victoria real estate market is getting ready for the topping out of the new Victoria Hudson condo tower residences. It’s amazing what changes a year can bring. Just twelve months ago, the presales Victoria Hudson condos was already a beautiful Georgian building, a historic landmark building in the heart of the Victoria real estate market. However, it was far from the luxurious stylish modern residences that it is now shaping up to be. And in another 12 months, the transformation of the new Victoria Hudson condo tower residences will be complete and ready for occupancy. As of this point in time, the Victoria condo project is full steam ahead. The historical renovation and refurbishment specialists are nearly sixty per cent through their painstaking work of revitalizing the exterior façade of the Victoria Hudson condo building. By the end of this year, each of the two hundred and forty three windows and all of the ornate terra cotta will be as fresh and stunning as in the Victoria Hudson condo building’s former glory. In the meantime, months of toil have paid off with a completely seismically sound structure, making it up to code for new Hudson Victoria condo owners. Next on the agenda of the construction of the Victoria luxury condos at The Hudson is the addition of the two Hudson penthouse levels and the construction of the greenery lined brick carriage way connecting Herald and Fisgard Street. This is just Phase 1 of the master planned presales Victoria Hudson condo development. On site, it’s all about the work. For more information and to the minute updates on the Hudson Victoria condo’s progress, just visit today. The Hudson Victoria Condo Sales Centre is still open at 1703 Blandshard Street, Victoria. More About Phase 2 of the Victoria Hudson Condominiums

Phase Two fo the Hudson is the 12 storey Victoria Hudson Mews building and is now awaiting its real estate development permit from the city. Construction on the Hudson Mews Victoria condo building should start some time this fall 2009, and The presales Hudson Mews Victoria codnominiums should be complete late in the summer of 2011 if everything progresses on time. Of course, not everyone in Victoria is focussed just on The Hudson. The Bastion Square Public Market is just one community event that happens right outside the new Hudson Victoria condo’s doors. In September, the Vancouver Island Blues Bash and the always popular Great Canadian Beer Festival are added to the mix. And then in October 2009, the Royal Victoria marathon takes to the streets. There is a lot happening in and around the Victoria Hudson Condo development, so check it out today.

A Victoria Hudson Condo Home Owner Expresses Her Review

Danielle is a 26 year old proud owner of a pre-sale Victoria Hudson condo and is a native Victorian who expressed her review of the new real estate development within the heart of the city. She works as a commercial account manager for the Bank of Montreal and she is also pursuing a marketing MBA at the sametime. According to Danielle, it’s the small details that are so telling in this new Victoria condo real estate development. The exposed heritage columns, quart countertops, deep soaker tub, radiant in floor heating, all give Danielle the purpose to purchase a new condo home at The Hudson Victoria. And once Danielle realized she could turn the second bedroom of her fourth floor loft unit into a fantasy closet, there was no denying that the pre-sale The Hudson Victoria condo home was meant to be hers. Truly, The Hudson Victoria condominiums is a perfect fit: a diehard shopper living in a legendary department store. And with The Hudson condo’s own street level boutiques and easy access to downtown Victoria, this is the location to live and invest.

The Hudson Victoria Luxury Condos - December 2009 Update
WE'RE DREAMING OF A WHITE CHRISTMAS! CONTINUING CONSTRUCTION CHRONICLES here at the new luxury Victoria Hudson Condos. Because the job is so finicky, and it's nearly a lost art that requires true artisans to execute, the Terra Cotta restoration continues. But, when it's done, that will sure be a fine, fancy facade. CONTINUING CONSTRUCTION CHRONICLES CONTINUE...WHEW! Concrete topping at the new Hudson Victoria condos for sale is being poured on the 3rd floor and the steel stud layout has started. Steel studs are what make up the wall structure and what the drywall is attached to - so soon it won't be the 2nd floor with walls, but the 3rd floor will have walls too. Actually, all the floors will eventually have walls. It'd be a bit breezy with out them (and don't forget - the Geothermal Heat will also help keep The Hudson Victoria Condominiums nice and cozy too.) The electrical, plumbing and mechanical rough-ins continue here at the new Victoria Hudson condos for sale. Soon, you'll be able to say let there be light and there will be. As well as water, heat, ventilation and all of the things necessary for Victoria modern condo living. We've started installing the glass windows (called Glazing in trade-speak, but not the kind of glazing you get at Tim Horton's) on the inner court yard at the new Victoria condos at The Hudson portion of the building. To extend the Tim Horton's nonsense, The Hudson Victoria real estate development community really is like a great big square doughnut, complete with a big hole (courtyard) in the middle, all covered in glazing. Sweet! Work continues on the new addition of the 5th and 6th floors. The concrete work involved with the framing process is nor almost complete. As well, the electrical and mechanical rough-ins continue. There are sparkies (electricians) and tin bashers (metal fabricators) all over the place. Construction update photos are online. To view more, visit the Victoria Hudson Condo website’s News section at Also if you have been following the news as of late, Townline in partnership with BC Housing and TL Housing Solutions, has announced the newest addition to Hudson Place. Construction will start in Spring 2010 on the 12 story Hudson Mews which is made up of 120 home-owership and rentals and is designed by Merrick Architecture. Stay tuned for more information in the New Year. MERRY CHRISTMAS, SEASON'S GREETINGS, HAPPY HOLIDAYS, FELIZ NAVIDID, JOYEUX NOEL, WESOLYCH SWIAT BOZEGO NARODZENIA, SARBATORI FERICITE! While the Hudson Victoria luxury condo presentation centre will be closed between Christmas and New Years, if you get the urge to own a new home for Christmas, I'll be available to see you. Just call me at 250.388.0018 and we can set up an appointment. Have a brilliant Holiday season with your loved ones, Best Regards. PS. Introducing the Townline Construction Division

The Townline Group of Companies has simply done it all: painstaking renovation and restoration property developments of some of the Greater Vancouver’s most important historical sites and structures, ground up construction of some of the Lower Mainland’s most cutting edge commercial and multi-family buildings, and thoughtful creation of some of the community’s most liveable neighbourhoods. The common thread about the Townline Developments? Absolute dedication by a talented Townline Construction Division team of professionals. Townline Development doesn’t build your standard fare. It takes a singular amount of skill and attention to detail to transform an iconic department store into a residential show piece like The Hudson Victoria condo development by Townline. Just try creating an inner courtyard (and adding underground parking) without damaging an historic terra cotta façade here at The Hudson Victoria condo project. Or installing complicated ventilation and plumbing systems within an existing (over eighty year old) exterior structure. This will be a Victoria condo landmark for generations to come, thanks to Townline Development. Meanwhile, crews at Heritance Clayton Village Surrey have the task of making classic Craftsman-style homes while creating an idyllic, old fashioned neighbourhood feeling. And at Clayton Rise Surrey townhomes, Townline Development’s building another vibrant community that requires a whole lot of experience and lots of creativity as well. Townline Development’s past work says it all: from the luxurious intimacy of 1241 Homer in downtown Vancouver real estate market, realized beautifully despite the challenges of an in fill site in Yaletown with limited access and manoeuvrability; to the urban conversion of 540 Beatty Vancouver condos, just completed after virtually being taken apart and rebuilt to achieve the necessary seismic upgrades. In addition to the four bedroom single family custom homes in Terra Nova Richmond, the Townline Development group is well experienced in all facets of Greater Vancouver construction projects. Each building stands as proof that grand ideas can come in all shapes and sizes. And that although they may be tricky to execute, in the right hands, such as the Townline Construction Division can yield truly inspired results.
